This is my second altered item for Far Flung Craft. I have been wondering what to create that would be unusual and that would hopefully attract some attention at the CHA. It's going to be Chinese New Year soon and the answer was staring at me in the face! Why don't we make a chinese lantern with these beautiful peranakan papers?
And thus, this lantern was "born". Made a few mistakes when I was making this but it was all in the fun and creative process and I enjoyed it very much.
Materials used:
FFC Peranakan Papers, Prima flowers, Lace, Jewels, Blings, Tassel and Pearls from local haberdashery, MR pom pom trim, Chipboard, Thickers alphas, UHU glue and 3d Pop up dots.
That's beautiful Michelle. :-) Hope the girls were able to pack it and take it with them rather than you posting it! Looks delicate!
