Track and Field Event

Was a HOT  and exciting track and field event for me today.  My kids have never excelled in these events and I just went for the fun of it.  Boy was I surprised!  Sean scored 3 ribbons - no none of them in the first place but any ribbon in any place - I will take them!

4th Place in Long Jump and 2nd Place in the 400 metres and  the 800 metres - from never winning an event - I am totally overwhelmed and proud.  Way to go Seany!

My Baby is 12

It was quite a shock to me that you are turning 12.  All I can say that baby - you need to slow down.  Please do not grow up so quickly.  I miss the baby you,  the smiling and cutesy and always sharing C.  Now you have turned to being a tweenager,  sometimes sullen,  sometimes moody and most of the time tempremental.  Sigh... Do stop sometimes to smell the roses and think of how lucky you are.  Life is never fair hence - learn to go with the flow and just relax and make the most of it.  Happy Birthday Baby.

Scrap-it-Lah December 2009 Challenge by Yatie

I was so glad that Yatie agreed to be our GDT this month at the Scrap-It-Lah site.  For more information on the challenge details,  please go head over to the SIL blog.  I left it to the last minute to do my lo and this is what I came up with.  I am also trying out more of a doodling and hope that I can become better at it.

Materials used:

Sassafras Lass pp,  White Bazzill cs,  Sassafras Lass Cardstock Diecuts,  journalling diecut and chipboard,  K n Co chipboard calendar,  Thickers chipboard alphas,  Black zig pens and loads of 3d foam tape.
